My name is Padraic Dowdican (@mrdowdican on Twitter) and I 
am a History, Geography and ICT teacher based in Ireland.
I completed my Undergraduate (History, Geography and Classics) and Masters (Geography) degrees in Ireland before undertaking my PGCE teacher training in the United Kingdom. I worked in the UK for a number of years afterwards. Since returning to Ireland I have completed a Postgraduate certificate in education and a Masters in Education.
I share my resources on the TES and I am a TES recommended author. I started mrdowdican.co.uk while I was teaching in the UK so my students could access materials for their ICT coursework. Since then, the site (and name) has evolved into a place where I can share the materials I use in all the subjects I teach. Some of the resources are good, some need a lot of work! The materials have been downloaded from as far away as Australia and it is always nice to hear from teachers or students who have found them useful. The site is not for profit.
